We had a really great holiday here. We have never stayed in such a well-equipped holiday home - there was literally nothing that we needed but couldn't find. The location is perfect with spectacular views out over crystal clear water and snorkelling, fishing and swimming all right there. But the best part was Julie, Ed and their team. They went above and beyond to help us have the best holiday we could. Highly recommend Farol da Barra.

We (2 adults and 2 teen's) stayed for 8 nights in Unit 14. The unit was extremely spacious with 3 bedrooms and a total of 8 beds. The main bedroom has a small balcony which has a gorgeous view. The main bedroom has a corner bath with a view of the ocean.

Perfect for relaxation. There are 2 bathrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs (has a bath).

The unit is also very well equipped with all the kitchen utensils you would need. There is also a gas braai.
The unit also has a nice lounge with roller doors that open all the way to ensure you get fresh air. There is also a laundry service at a small cost. Julie the host is so amazing. She made sure that our holiday was relaxing. Julie also is very proactive with communication. From the 1st day we got there she was a star. She recommended a guy who brought us fresh crayfish, Tiger prawns and calamari to buy. I also asked for her recommendation for a chef to cook all the seafood.(at a small cost).

Katarina the chef cooked us up a seafood feast! I highly recommend getting her to cook your food whilst you relax on the beautiful balcony over looking the sea. I can't thank Julie, Ed, Domingo and Amelia for making our stay at Farol da Barra most enjoyable.

We also felt extremely safe and secure.

Location Location Location!!! Wow, what a view. We even got an amazing sighting of the great Frigatebird right on the beach in front of us. Superbly equipped houses right next to an excellent restaurant. Paradise at Barra!
